ABOUT ME

About me

Having been a care-giver from a very early age, I am personally aware of the serious negative impact that stress and chronic ill health can have on your  physical and mental well being. I am also deeply aware of the frustrations and challenges in trying to get the help that you need and when you need it.

Hypnotherapy has helped me to stop that negative self talk, sleep better and cope with the often overwhelming demands of everyday life.  I have written articles for the National Council for Hypnotherapy, a book about my family's experience of finding medical help and I have supported other students as a voluntary classroom assistant at the London Hypnotherapy Academy.  As a wife, mother and now grandmother, with a background in health and social services, education and the justice system, people feel confident in coming to me for help and support, knowing that I will listen with empathy and understanding.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious or perhaps suffering from chronic pain, want to stop an unwanted habit or make some changes in your life, then please give me a call, if only for a brief chat, to find out if hypnotherapy is the way forward.

You will find that I am friendly, approachable, non-judgemental and completely committed to working with you to help you make the positive changes you want and lead a happier and healthier life.

02 Hypnotherapy

Sit back, relax and enjoy your first hypnotherapy session. After a confidential discussion to identify your goals, all you need do now is just make yourself comfortable and just listen, or not listen, to my voice.

Relaxing just as deeply as you would like to go and trusting your subconscious to take on board any positive suggestions which it believes will be of benefit. Remember you remain fully aware and completely in control at all times.

03 Practice

Hypnotherapy is fast and effective. After each session you will feel completely refreshed, alert and positive.  Change may happen straight away or it may be more subtle over a few days or weeks.

As it is collaborative, you will find that practising some of the tools or techniques you will have been taught will reinforce new thinking patterns and more helpful responses and behaviours.

Confidence

It is easy to forget who we are and our self worth.
